Job Carr Cabin

As part of their study of Westward Expansion the Octopi visited the Job Carr Cabin Museum in Tacoma. They learned about the journey by wagon to Washington and how life was before the founding of Tacoma. They even got to do crafts, sing and try out dancing like the pioneers would have done!

Science Fair

The Octopi did an amazing job on their Science Fair projects showing a great depth of understanding about the scientific method. Many involved our recent study about microbiology but also included studies about pain and distraction, as well as video and movie preferences. Nice job Octopi!

Pi Day!

In honor of Pi Day 3.14 the Octopi spent all day learning about Pi and making calculations. And, of course, baked a couple pies and ate them. Math is awesome!
